Where did the name KINGSROWE come from? Kingsrowe Ct. is a street in Columbus, OH where some of the most influential minds in the city grew up and called home. It was home to endless games of tag and "gator", thousands of pieces of Lego's, Ninja Turtle curtains, and a dream. A dream that a crew on a street of single-parent households could escape the cycle.
When was the foundation of the brand built? The brand was created and released in the fall of 2008 with 8 different shirts. It was not until the summer of 2009 that the brand began to come into its own.
Who started KINGSROWE? Kingsrowe was created in the fall of 2008 by Dionte' Johnson, with the idea to create a fashion foward streetwear brand that reflected his personal taste and vision. The brand soon gathered a group of creative and inspired individuals from all different walks of life, to form a team that is dedicated to creating a trend-setting lifestyle brand.
